Tiffany Haddish makes me laugh. Like most people, I don't question the talent and work ethic that it took to make her one of the most highly sought after actresses in all of Hollywood. I also have to give it up for her sincerity - she seems sweet, humble and all those other things that are endearing for public figures. But I have to keep it real and say that when Tiffany speaks, there is a part of me that cringes. Her efforts to lean on every ugly stereotype about the loud, obnoxious and ignorant black woman to get a few laughs from white people makes me feel sorry for her and even more sorry for us over the fact that this is the best we can hope to get. Let's be clear, I don't hate Tiffany Haddish and I really wish her well. I just only wish white people wouldn't always pick the loudest, most annoying negroes to represent what "talent" looks like in the black community. You can be hilarious without being 100% ghetto. Someone asked me the truth about Tiffany, so I shared it. I also talked a little about some other figures in the industry. The video is below.
